Connecting Health Connect with Thrive Katherine Ward July 13, 2026 17:18 Updated If you’re connecting your apps with Thrive through Health Connect by Google/Android, you have to make the connection from your Android device.* Download the Thrive app to your Android device, and from there, you’ll be able to connect your Health Connect data using the following steps: Open the Thrive app on your phone and head to the Health & Fitness Apps tab in your profile, which is the circle icon in the top right corner with either your initials or picture if you've customized that. Select “Connect” in the Health Connect by Google tile - this will open the Health Connect app permissions menu. (Note: If you’re not seeing the option to “Connect,” it is likely because you aren’t accessing via the latest version of the Thrive app. Select “Go to Google Play” instead to download the latest version and restart the connection flow.) You’ll now be prompted to allow Thrive to access your Health Connect data. For the easiest flow, click “Allow all” to select the necessary permissions. Thrive collects only the data needed to help measure your wellbeing and provide personalized scores and recommendations. Any data you provide is aggregated and anonymized, except when participating in company challenges where your activity is associated with a display name of your choosing. For more information, please visit our Privacy Policy and Terms of Service. That’s it! Click the back arrow in the upper lefthand corner to navigate back to Thrive. To disconnect your Health Connect data, go to the Health Connect app and disallow all Thrive permissions. *If you’re on Thrive on web or MS Teams when you try to connect to Health Connect, you’ll see a QR code prompting you to download or open the Thrive app on your Android device. Once you’re logged into the mobile app on your Android device, you’ll be able to begin the connection flow.
