Company Challenges: How can I create a public team? Lizzabeth Brown September 08, 2025 15:16 Updated Public teams allow anyone who signs up for a Challenge at your company to join. Follow the steps below to set up your own Public Team. If Your Company Challenge is Featured: Open Thrive, go to Challenges, and select the Discover tab. At the top of the page, find the Featured Challenge card and click Sign Up First, enter your display name Choose your participation method = 'As a team'Note: If the Challenge is team-only, this step will be skipped. Simply click Next after entering display name! On the Join a Team page, click on the “Create a Team” button to land on the Create a team page. Fill in your team details: Input a team name (Optional) Upload a team logo or choose from Thrive’s preset options Choose Privacy Settings = Public (anyone can join the team) Click Next, review the Challenge consent, then select Confirm and Join Challenge. 🎉 That’s it -- you’ve created a public team! If Your Company Challenge is Not Featured Open Thrive, go to Challenges, and select the Discover tab. Scroll down to the 'Find a Challenge' section and click on the Company Challenge card On the Challenge details page, click on the Join Challenge button.
