Company Challenges in Slack

Thrive Company Challenges add an extra layer of motivation to your personal well-being journey by encouraging you to complete relevant Microsteps over a set duration of time alongside your colleagues. We've made joining and participating in Company Challenges even easier by bringing them right into Slack for you! 

How to join a Company Challenge in Slack: 

1. Enter the command /thrive challenge in any channel or DM, or in the Thrive app chat.
2. If there are any Company Challenges available for you to join, you will receive a message with a description and a button to join. If there aren't any Company Challenges available, you will be prompted to explore our 30+ platform Challenges available to join at any time, by yourself or with a team.
   
3. Enter your Challenge display name and select your participation method. You can join a Company Challenge as an individual participant, or on a team with your peers.
   
4. Once you've joined the Challenge, share it with your colleagues! Click the Share Challenge button and send it in any public Slack channel. Everyone in that channel will receive a message like this, prompting them to join: 

How to participate in a Company Challenge in Slack: 

1. Each day in a Company Challenge you will have 2-3 goals to complete. Each goal you complete will earn you a virtual plant in your Challenge garden, and every plant earned gets you a step closer to the top of the leaderboard. 
2. If you haven't completed all of your Challenge goals for the day, Thrive will send you a Slack message to remind you. Click Complete your goals to be taken to the Thrive web app, where you can complete the actions and earn your plants.
