Thrive for Teams Installation Guide

Before Installation:   

1. Find your Azure Active Directory Tenant ID

• We need your organization's Azure Active Directory Tenant ID to activate your subscription.
  • Here are instructions for your team on how to find your ID.

2. Grant admin consent   

• If you plan on using an app setup policy to install or pin the app on behalf of users please review the application permissions and grant consent on behalf of the organization.

3. Create a group for application setup policy

• This will allow you to restrict Thrive installation and pinning to the target population via the group policy assignment. 
  • Here are instructions to create a Microsoft 365 Group.
  • Here are instructions to create a Microsoft Security Group.

Installation

1. Update your permission policy

• Configure your app permission policy to allow the Thrive Global application to be installed.
  • Instructions can be found here.

2. Create a Setup Policy to add the Thrive for Teams app on behalf of eligible users

• We have seen the most success when using the app setup policy to auto-install the Thrive Global application on behalf of your users. This will ensure that Thrive can send a Welcome message to all eligible users upon launch.
